What do I charge for?

When people see me analyzing someone's handwriting, curiosity brings them to me and many such people have become my clients. Not all of them are able to afford it sometimes. I got a call from a driver of a client who had heard his "Saab" talk about me to someone and he wanted me to analyze his son's writing. My fees for children's analysis is very less but he told me that he will pay be EMI and I willingly agreed.

I had taken a small break after marriage and, when I started working again, some person who was going through difficulties asked me to help him change his sign. I found his issues overwhelming and wasn't sure if I could help. For the first time, I doubted graphology. I referred him to the person who taught me. He spoke to him but found his fees higher than me and told me to do it. He pleaded that all he wanted is the new correct sign and nothing else. He doesn't want analysis or anything of that sort and that he told me that he won't be able to pay. He is calling me almost everyday for a month now and something in me decided to do it as a pro bono.

Since he wanted a changed sign and nothing else, I sent him that. It took me about 5 minutes and after I sent it, I realized that I take money for helping people understand about themselves truly. It takes me 5 minutes maybe to understand them, the money I take is for them to understand.

Just sharing!

Customer Service in Jail ???

I was recently talking to Head HR of a growing SME (just in words is he an head hr, in action poor guy has not much of a team to head) about the results of the Pre-Employment Scan. For those of you who have already been through the analysis, know that it can tell you about the person's ability to be a team leader. The guy in analysis was someone to be hired for Head of Operations or maybe COO. He marked low on being a team player and high on leadership. Besides this, he was low on cheating and high on positive attitude and creativity and other things that he should have scored a high on. There seemed no doubt in my mind over this guy being hired and I was busy concentrating on my next assignment when the Head HR asked for a chat over this profile. Slightly shocked and curious, we spoke immediately and He asked that what did a score of 2 out of 5 mean for this guy. I explained that they like to lead and not be led. Slightly on the bratty side, One (read the Head HR) can be aware of this trait before hand and give them projects accordingly. Also, since he is being hired for a Head position, it shouldn't matter much. The Head HR didn't say much and asked me if I could understand how good will this person be at customer service. My second shock! Ability to be polite was ok, ego was slightly high and sarcasm and harshness was high, so I told him that he might not be good at customer service. The Head HR sounded sad and gave a sad ok and we said our thank you's and goodbyes.

I couldn't concentrate on my next profile as the link between customer service and Head of operations was not making any sense, so I ended up asking him if I could call. He promptly agreed and I asked him. He didn't seem very amazed at my question and answered that customer service for him is a big quality and he shared the following story.

A Miami prison which had the country’s biggest violence and break-away rates. Its new director has all his staff attend a 4-week customer service course and tells them ‘ok now, you have to treat your inmates as if they were your customers’. Two years later, new statistics come out and this jail now has the lowest violence and break-away rates.

He then added that by giving respect can a person gain it and since theirs is a growing company, they want to ensure that people at COO position are willing to work like a executive till the time the right team is in place. Hence he ensures that no matter what or whom he hires, he needs to check their ego and ability to be polite and work hard. It made a lot of sense. I told him that I will check for these pointers specifically next time I analyse his profiles. He also added that the primary reason for using my services is that they can't figure out such traits by interviews.

I wanted to verify the story and checked on google to find this http://projectesinterns.com/2007/02/page/2/ though this could also be an hawthorne effect where simply because workers were singled out for special treatment and thus perhaps felt more valued or more pressured to perform well but I know that respect is one trait you don't get my asking. You have to have have to earn it. :)

Reliance Capital event organized by Super Seva.

Super Seva (http://www.superseva.com/) organized a handwriting analysis event at Reliance Capital, Wadala on 8th Aug 12. With time, I am realizing that some people like to analyse their handwritings for the experience of it.
A lady really laughed at a statement i said and just couldn't stop laughing. She was so amazed that she ended up calling a lot of her friends to be analyzed. I told her that she nags and her maids have a very bad time. It is not a very big thing to analyse. She later told me that she had just come to office after having a quarrel with her maid.

There is this other lady who couldn't believe that I told her that she loved to sleep a lot. It was such a normal thing to say. She said that I must have read it from the other page. She even showed me that where she had written. Amazingly and honestly, I had not come to that page. We were both giggling like school girls and ended up disturbing everyone there.

A fabulous event indeed !

Forgive your boss. Here is how and why...

Most of you might want to read this post just for curiosity. :) Y is this crazy lady asking us to forgive our boss???
Some lucky ones might not feel the need coz they have excellent bosses. Some must be so filled with anger that forgiveness is so out of the question, that they might not even read it. I hope curiosity brings the ones who really need to hear this, here. Well, whoever you are, hope you are able to lead a better life after reading this. Stories are always welcome, Infact, I love listening to it. So pls do share. Also, feel free to share this post with people u know will need to read.

Boss - A mysterious creature, ain't he? For many, it is possible that he is the same guy whom they shared lunch with, but now, make faces when he enters on your lunch time. :P
The picture just says it all. Bosses truly don't know what to with the power they have been given. Most are forced leader. I have a true story to share.

Just few months back, I had a handwriting sample for a Pre Employment scan. It was for some senior position in the company that wanted to hire him, I had not been given any other specifics about function to check, it was just a simple analysis. I sent the report and I got a call back asking how is this guy not a good leader. I was taken aback. I didn't know how to explain. I told them that as per his handwriting, though he is very straight forward, simple, fast thinker and hardworking. The following were my additional exact comments - Balanced individual. Clean heart and hence slightly short tempered. Also if time taken to analyse handwriting can be considered as the time to judge the individual, then this analysis took me half the time as the first one. I am guessing he will come with no pretenses and will be able to judge and analyse. But am sorry that he is not a good leader. "He is very highly recommended and He is currently the AGM, He is to be hired for Head position, and he has a flawless track record. How can he not be a good leader" was the reply.
I told them that he isn't. Please check on him. Was he forced to a leadership position? Did he have to struggle a lot in the start? now, does he treat himself as a leader or just like a captain? He has a lot of good qualities like being straight but also kind and he is hardworking so his subordinates will learn a lot. This could make him a good person to be in charge of that position, Also, his stress management skills are high, so it has taken him time to be in charge of that position and lead but he is not a very good leader intrinsically and takes some time to adjust to new situations, but will do well.

They didn't get back to me for sometime, but when they did, I was told that it is very much possible that he was forced into a leadership position. NOW, Think about your boss. Does he have good leadership skills? Probably no, because you are reading this article. What exactly is a leader? As per graphology, he is someone who has vision, thinks big and is not good with getting in the small details but would very well want you to do it. He has a slightly inflated ego that needs little bit of air every now and then. But at the end of the day, he is a human being just like you. He too has his boss to report to. Maybe even worse at managing self than your boss is.

Possible na? He is not a good boss because he is not good at managing his self. BUT just because he is not good at managing his self, doesn't mean that you should too? Forgive him. There is just no point in spoiling your mood because of him. Worrying they say is a waste of imagination. So, All you lovely people and my friend PJ, don't waste a single moment in sadness because of your boss. Smile and chill. Forgive him for not being a good boss. At the same time, learn from his mistakes and promise yourself that you will be a lot better boss.
Good luck.
Keep smiling.
Keep learning.
Keep Growing!

Even ur fears can be good!

I got a call from a lady whom I had analysed some 2-3 years back. Her daughter turned 18 and she wanted to get her Children Analysis done.

After the analysis this lady sat next to me and told me that the statement I had told her some years back actually came true. I wondered what it was and she told me that I had told her to accept her fears also, who knew what good might come from it. I asked what it was and she told me that she recently had to travel in train alone and that too in III tier.

She is very very very afraid of mice and to her dismay, she saw a small mouse in her bogey. She was so scared to see the mouse that she just couldn't fall asleep. She was trying to tell herself that it is okay and the mouse won't bother maybe and she should fall asleep but her mind just didn't come to rest. While all this was happening, she saw a hand come from the top towards her purse. She screamed and it turns out the man was arrested as the police was looking for him or something of that sorts. She didn't know the proper story but the amazing thing is that her money and passport. She thanked the mouse and though she couldn't sleep after all this excitement, she thought of connecting with me too. Though this too took long, we both giggled at this episode yesterday.

Well, what can I say, Accept ur fears. U never know what good might come out of it.

DNA Article - Jobs available, Qualified Candidates not - How to use graphology to deal with this.

Scanning through today's DNA, Whatever ounce of sleep I had in my body, went out the window because of the shock. The article says that there are Jobs available in the market but not Qualified Candidates. Here is the attached link - http://epaper.dnaindia.com/story.aspx?id=18446&boxid=26696940&ed_date=2012-05-30&ed_code=820009&ed_page=1

Here is a summary of the article, for those who don't want to read and are as lazy as me :P

  • Companies must also try and retain key talent, for replacements are hard to find.
  • A whopping 48% of employers in the country are experiencing difficulty in filling positions in their firms, a survey by ManpowerGroup has found.
  • Particularly difficult to fill are the ranks of IT staff, engineers, sales and marketing people.
  • “Access to talent is the key competitive differentiator and leaving key positions unfilled due to talent shortage will be a problem in the years to come,” says Sanjay Pandit, managing director, ManpowerGroup India.
  • Undesirable geographical locations and the candidates’ quest for higher pay only make things more difficult for companies.
  • Such shortage of talent leads to firms investing heavily in training new recruits, to make them productive.
  • According to estimates by education services firm Aspire Human Capital Management, less than 25% of the country’s youth are employable, and get jobs compatible with their qualifications.
  • The solution - Focus more on retention in jobs where recruitment is difficult, increase salaries, partner with educational institutions to create curriculums aligned to talent requirements.

Lets look at the bright side - Also, lets see how graphology can help.

  • Indian Population is 1.22 billion. As per http://www.indiaonlinepages.com/population/india-current-population.html  50% of the population is 0 to 25 years, Assuming we start working after graduation, Is the article saying that 25% of that doesn't fulfill our corporate needs.
  • Yes, Retaining is difficult, With the use of graphology, You can understand the very motivating factor of employee and this helps retain the employee
  • To think about it training is more difficult than retaining. Graphology helps understand and check if the person is trainable at the time of hiring and can save company huge losses.
Feel free to send Feedback or further discuss the article

Desires

A mom brought her 20 yr old daughter to me for Children's analysis. There were very mild signs of depression and aggression in her writing and I made a note to mention it in the end.

The session started well. She actually giggled with me on few occasions. Everything seemed normal.
I mentioned that she was a rebel and the kid looked down. Mom didn't say anything. I went to the next point. I don't recall what my next point was but the mother blurting out that the child sleeps more than 16 hours a day and seems dead to her even when she is awake. I didn't know what to say. So far the session seemed so normal. I would have never guessed that even in my dreams. Thankfully, the child spoke before I had to and said, "I don't have any desires" I said that it was an ideal state according to me with respects to spirituality. To have no desires. Her mom laughed. "She is not religious or bhakti oriented" The kid and I ignored her mom for sometime, The kid looked pleased to hear that this was the ideal state for something at least.. I asked her why and how... She said "whatever I want, I never get. God is so not there. What is the point in living?" To this her mom said that she talks like this at home also and doesn't eat well.. I gave the poor kid an hour long lecture about desires, spirituality, law of attraction and affirmations and all that I have learnt in life so far. The kid hopefully seemed better.

The conversation with kid taught me an important lesson. Not getting your desires filled can also lead you to spirituality. It might not last long, He leads us to him in more ways than one. He knows best.

Writing slowly helped someone. So happy to receive this mail

I have received this mail from a ayurvedic doctor who doesn't wish to be named. He is an amazing human being who read the article published in "New Woman" and implemented the slow writing on a patient.

The best part is that he took the trouble to write this mail for me.

A female patient age 43yrs, approached at my clinic complaining of following symptoms
  • Depression without reason,
  • Mood swings and mental disturbance with some or the other reason since last 6 to 8 months.
  • Other physical Complaints when asked she said its not much
  • Sometimes feels weak,
  • Indigestion,
  • Lack of appetite,
  • Irregular periods with irregular flow and duration.
  • She was more irritated and restless all the time.
  • She was not happy and unable to enjoy peace of mind .
  • She experienced negative moods and also with memory problems.
When I checked her pulse I diagnosed her as a patient into the menopausal phase with all the menopausal symptoms and second due the hormonal changes she was also affected mentally first and then physically.

Advised her with following things
  1. Meditation on daily basis.
  2. Walks on daily basis
  3. Diet which will be easy for her to digest
  4. And Advised her to do things slowly and a little thoughtfully. Like whenever she writes she should try and write slowly rather than hurry and try to finish faster.
  5. Adv her to do all her physical activities with a stable speed like walking, talking and writing too
  6. As I had read a article that if we write slowly it also helps to improve memory and mental irritation or problems with a confused overstressed mind.
  7. Rest all was taken care by the medicines I had given.

After 2 wks of this advice  when the patient came for a routine followup she presented herslf as follows
1.       I am felling much better
2.       I am feeling happy internally
3.       I am not confused as I was
4.       My digestion is also better
5.       I am feeling fresh
6.       I feel like doing things and there is much reduced –ve  thoughts and mental irritation.

I asked are u doing ur meditation regularly and the other thing what I had advised. She said yes. And also mentioned That writing reading and doing my actions at a little slow speed than what I was doing is helping me to do my things more confidently. I am able to do it with confidence and relaxed my. Initially I was worried for all the things that I used to do and not at all satisfied. Now I can also remember things better than before.
Listening to this even I thought that she had surely benefitted from the type of attitude towards doing things slowly has helpd her to gain her physical and mental health back to normal.
She herself said she was feeling 10 to 20 % better just in 15 days.
I was really happy and thanks to u sunayna for writing the article.
Thanks

It feels so good to receive genuine feedback and having helped someone. There are so many gimmicks that we see around and one feels that we may lose out on marketing. And when one writes an article, there is always a cloud of fear whether people will actually read the whole article and understand it the way it is meant. So when you receive something you know is genuine and so fantastic, it sends you on cloud 9. I am happier than i was at the time of the article's publication :P

How do you tell a person who has an ego that he has an ego?

I recently met a Civil engineer. He had a career shift from a BMC worker to a highly successful and good earning Civil Engineer. It is not totally his fault that he has full faith in himself and not so much on God almighty. He believes that he is a self made man. In other words, I am trying to justify his reasons for being egoistic.

On top of it, he is a very very selective listener. If things don't sound correct, he makes it very clear. Not just this, he is also short tempered. If one tries to make him understand the logic, but it is not something he wants to hear... then... I had a very hard time during the analysis. I was surprised when he came for the analysis in the first place, Individuals who are so sure of themselves, rarely come to me. Later I learned that it was his wife who forced him citing some issues with coworkers at work.

Normally, when I analyse, I start with things that are intrinsic to the individual's behavior and is slightly uncommon. I started the analysis with something funny. He smiled. Next analysis was also intrinsic and present in almost all his strokes, He gave me an Ok but seemed to be thinking about it. I told him that if he wants to explain something in detail, I would be happy to. As I keep saying, Graphology is scientific and can't be wrong. Only time it may seem wrong is when I don't word it properly or give a wrong example.

What happens is there is a trait - You have good aesthetic sense.

Manifestations
  • You can be good at matching colors - not just for clothes but also for curtains, walls etc
  • Your sense of design can be good.
  • The prints (if)that you buy (for curtains, towels, bedsheets, dress for wife, handicrafts) can be very pretty and look terrific at home. Because of your keep sense, you probably match it with your home decor, Others might look at it as a piece alone and not like it. There are several other manifestations of the trait
So, When I mention the trait in the analysis and it doesn't make sense, I try to give the manifestations. It might not be all true but It surely does help reaching to the point.

With this gentleman, He stopped me with the first manifestation and replied that I was wrong. This went on for next 15 minutes even though all the traits that I was saying were positive and present in all the letters. The only thing he sort of agreed though very reluctantly was to stomach issues. He said - Yes, very little.
Later, his wife told me that he suffers from constipation often.

Anyway, I decided to be honest with him in the most gentle way I knew. I told him that the issues he was facing was because of a few reasons. He didn't agree to it completely but at this time, his wife got the courage to tell him that I was right. When I gave him the 4th manifestation and he sort of said ok if not yes, I told him that all the manifestations I have given so far mean that he has an ego. He almost jumped from his seat. No one who has an ego likes to be told or agrees to it. I didn't know what to say much, He obviously disagreed and we ended the session soon after that.

This has been the most exciting and thrilling experience during an analysis for me. I still don't have an answer to this. How do I tell a person who has an ego that he has an ego? He is obviously not going to listen to me.

Ironic na? It is like a mad man trying to prove he is not mad.

March 2012 - New Woman Article - Write your way to Health and Happiness slowly.

An article about me, Graphology, benefits of graphology and a way to live better by writing slowly.... in the magazine - New Woman. Issue of March 2012. Life is kind...and everything cannot be perfect..a learning after reading the article...they have written everything perfectly except the contact details...;) Anyway, You know where to find me - http://sos4graphology.com/

For those who have trouble reading it, here is the draft I had sent to the mag. It is more or less the same.

Have you faced the following issues?
  • Forgot to switch off the gas after keeping it on sim?
  • Asked your neighbor to check if you had locked the door?
  • Done with the bath but forgot to switch off the Geyser?
  • Called home to check if you had switched off the lights and fan?
  • Walked in the room and forgot the reason?
  • Feeling more irritated about memory issues?

Each one of you reading this may be having many more experiences to share. We generally laugh about such instances but what we don’t realize is that such events can be dangerous. Why don’t we do something about this? Probably because we don’t really understand the reason behind such behaviour and label it as memory loss or ageing and accept it into our daily life.

So why do we forget? One of the reasons why we forget these activities in day today life is because our living has become fast. It has become so rapid that most of us don’t know how to handle it and hence we try to do more than 1 thing at a time. “Our mind is over worked” says Kunjal Shah, psychotherapist and counseling therapist of Don Bosco College. She adds that we have become absent minded and we really need to slow down. We have become obsessed with the peripherals of living and our daily functioning has taken a backseat because of it.

What really is happening is that our conscious mind is one track mind. We can think of only 1 thought at a time. Try it! Try not thinking about feeling cold and you will start feeling cold. So, when we jump tasks, our conscious mind forgets to register the tasks.
Example, you are making your last chapatti and you keep the gas on sim
– Task 1. Your kid asks for chapatti, you put this last chapatti in the basket and go to give it to him
– Task 2. While you are out in the dining area, you see that he needs more bhaji and you give it to him
– Task 3. In this while, your husband asks you to sit down for dinner and you do which unfortunately becomes task 4 and by now you have no memory or concern for task 1 the gas kept on sim.

These are still small frivolous sounding issues. Kunjal Shah shares a case she read in “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales” is a 1985 book by neurologist Oliver Sacks about a musical genius who was biologically perfect but suffered from Visual agnosia. He chose and strongly desired to focus on music and disregarded almost everything to the extent of forming an imbalance in life, of which this was a severe case says Kunjal. When we get used to our surroundings, and take the situations as granted, we slowly act mechanical. He had trained his mind for music and took other things for granted. This caused him to not use most of his other senses. If you replaced the tooth paste with foot cream, he wouldn’t notice and brush.

Slow down but how? The issues that have come up are not something new and there are thousands of articles that you must have read which talk about slowing down. Doing one thing at one time and doing it with concentration. But how? Sunayna Navani, a well known graphologist says to write slowly.

Write everything slowly. Sign to the courier boy slowly and not in haste. Sign your kid’s report card slowly. Fill details on the cheque slowly. Practice writing slowly before bed.

Benefits
  • You will become less mechanical
  • You will be more aware
  • You will not take yourself or your surroundings for granted.
  • You will understand reasons behind doing things.
  • You will gain clarity
  • You will understand yourself
  • You will achieve good results
  • Memory will definitely improve
  • Your success rate will increase.

Scientifically, how will writing slowly help?

“The greatest invention of all must surely be writing. It is not just one of the foundations of civilisation: it underpins the steady accumulation of intellectual achievement. By capturing ideas in physical form, it allows them to travel across space and time without distortion, and thus slip the bonds of human memory and oral transmission, not to mention the whims of tyrants and the vicissitudes of history” says Tom Standage, author of "An Edible History of Humanity".
A pen in hand is mightier than a sword’ goes the age old saying. Most of us remember this from School. Few of us actually realize the essence of it and even fewer practice it. Handwriting is also called "Brainwriting" simply because it is a remarkable reflection of our personal styles and our patterns of behaviour.  We write with the pen which is in control of our muscles of our thumb and fingers and our limbs which also happen to occupy a huge space in our mind. Each vibration of movement is unconsciously directed by the brain says Sunayna.

When you write slowly, you start instructing and in effect controlling your mind. This helps you to take charge and be aware. Really, try it for few days before dismissing it completely. “This idea came to me last year when I wanted to control my anger. I had club strokes in my handwriting, the only way to remove them is to write slowly” says Sunayna. Club strokes are the effect of the pen thinning in the end when you write very fast.

Sunayna also made her family write slowly and found her mom breathing more deeply than usual. My aunt has become more alert than before about everything. I suggested this to a VP who felt guilty after every argument and was ready to try anything. Sadly he is still not reached where he wants but agrees that there are slow and subtle effects and it surely helps each one who is taking the effort to write slowly.

What else can Graphology help you with?
Graphology is a tool to understand yourself and the world around you BETTER. Graphology is often mistaken to be handwriting analysis but graphology is much more than that. Graphology helps us judge the mental state of the writer. It is a guide to the will power, intellect and emotions of a person and much more.

Full 100%

Perfectionist are so hard to please... I was at an event recently and there was a form to be filled by the people we graphologists analysed. It had basic feedback questions like how was the analysis etc. There was on question that really bugged me. "What is the level of accuracy?"
I got a range between 90 to 99%.

After they handed back the form, I wondered what was wrong. So I started asking people. What part felt wrong. Why is the result not 100%???

Thankfully none had an answer. They just didn't feel like giving 100% until there was this one lady who gave me 99.99% It was so weird. I asked her why. She said because there is always room for improvement. Now this I understand. and now i wholeheartedly accept, even the 90% :)

Ideal Children

Most Children analysis(Indepth analysis + therapy  for kids at 1/6th the cost) that I do is of kids who are mostly from pretty well to do families. I have noticed that most of them have this one trait in common. I am not saying all but most lack the ability to maintain. This has the following manifestations

  • Take things for granted
  • Don't value the cost of things
  • Throw away things after using it once - eg. CD's will be w/o covers etc
  • Will also destroy relationships
In life, this happens because of ...
  • Asking and receiving it from parent - There is no sense of struggle and achievement
  • Parents are too busy making money and believe that gifting is a way to make up for it.
There must be a lot of other reasons also, but these are the common ones.

I recently analysed someone's kid who didn't have this trait. The father is at a very senior position and the lady too works. The son didn't have this trait. A very humble kid. I was so happy to see this. I shared my happiness with the father after the discussion with the kid was over.

The father disclosed that he has struggled to reach at this position... he has seen a lot of brats and didn't want to create one more. I was so happy to be in the company of someone so enlightened.

He shared a few pointers that I hope will help you.
  • He gives the kid almost whatever he wants but ensures that there is a waiting period. The kid should ask atleast 5 to 6 times and justify the game or whatever...
  • They truly do spend time together. They are very alike. Father doesn't have much hobbies besides music, nature and walking. Kid is football crazy. They didn't let this stop them. The father plays football just to be with the kid. How nice?
  • They also take annual vacations in rural parts of India or small hill station. The father believes that this keeps the kid grounded.
Hope this small anecdote brings you closer to your kid and helps him maintain relationships and things in life.

Keep loving,
Keep smiling.

IIT powai on 7th Jan

I am little late with the updates. :) IGPS had organized an event at IIT fest from 6th the 8th Jan, All graphologists were invited at the fest.

The lovely part of this fest is that the energy of youth is amazing. They are so open and receptive to comments and any feedback you give. They are not prejudiced or very rigid. It is fun analyzing them. It is also beautiful to see the courage they have to ask PERSONAL questions in front of their friends. Really a fun experience. :)

Kismat 2012

SOS4Graphology had taken part in the Kismat 2011 show at andheri. This was my first exhibition. More than the people who walked in, it was fun being there with so many intelligent and connected people. I met really really lovely people, tarot readers who were so full of love and the vastu experts too who came for analysis. I met some celebrities out of which an aspiring actress - S Kashyap agreed for a photo. The energy of the place is hard to explain with words. I am thankful to the organizers and the lovely people who came in. It was am amazing experience in all ways possible.

Broke the new yr resolution already?

The following post is not just for HR managers but anyone who is a manager...manager of self, manager of home and manager at work. Would request everyone to read it and share it with your loved ones.

New year Resolutions don't last more than hours. Why?
We need to quit smoking but can't. Why?
We want to spend less, but don't. Why?
We want to be more assertive, but can't. Why?

Is it really impossible to do what we want? or do we give up and not try again. So what if you broke the resolution? Is it an excuse for you not to start again? Do we need a date to start living better?

Kindly ponder over these questions before you read further. Change is the only thing permanent. One doesn't need any date to start changing. Neha is sad with her career growth. She comes to me for analysis. She understand that she has issues being assertive mostly. I show her the reason for not being assertive. She agrees. I show her the changes that she can make. She has the Information now. I ask her to practice the letters and change the sign. She practices 5 days out of 7. She starts to feel calm and understands herself better.
She gets an opportunity to apply this change in front of her boss. She tells herself that she is an an assertive person now and the past has no reason to hold her back. With this new found courage and understanding, she  answers her boss. While replying, She is happy. She is feeling elated with each passing moment.. Just till the second the boss hears her and replies in negative. The bubble bursts. She gives up and says that Graphology doesn't work and never practices again. Application fails. I check on her after a week and she tells me that it didn't work.

What does Neha not realize? -  Some trait of yours was yours for more than 20 years. You were not the most assertive person for more than 20 years. How will 7 days of work erase 20 years of a trait. Nothing is magical. So what if you failed once? Try again.

One needs to apply the information to learn. It is impossible to change overnight or in 7 days. Graphology is not magical. It shows you one of the fastest ways to make changes in your life and live better, but you have to keep applying your will and keep trying to change. Each application will have a learning. Each learning when applied again will lead you to growth.

On this note, I wish all of you a very Happy New Year. I wish you never break any resolution and become the individual you want to become. We are never give the desire without the ability to achieve it. I hope you realize that time is less and there is a long way to go.
Keep Learning,
Keep growing.
Keep Smiling :)

The Workaholics have got it wrong

Have you ever had a fight at home and gone to work thanking god your work life is better??
Are you a better and happy person at work than at home?
Are you deluding yourself by being occupied by work?

You need to read this article. If you belong to the HR department, you need to put this article on your notice board and ensure that your Human Resources are happy everywhere... at home and at work.

Professor Yannis Gargles at Kingston University in London, one of the researchers, said: "The life and work domains are definitely correlated. Happiness at home affects your job and vice versa.

"Although there is a clear 'spillover' effect from one area of life to the other, there is no evidence that people who are very unhappy at home will feel 'compensated' by work in any way."

The researchers came to the conclusion on an analysis of a survey of 10,000 people across 30 European countries.

If you believe that staying late at work will save you from your home life, you are mistaken. Running away from issues is not going to solve your problems.

A simple example – If you fall down and hurt your knee, do you GET UP and Bandage it or do you divert your mind to something else (like working or cribbing about the pain) and let it bleed?

The answer is obvious, isn’t it?

Then why do you let your life bleed in these small issues that come to everyone but are expanded out of proportion with each passing day?

It must be fear. I see it happen almost everyday. People ask me what graphology can disclose? I find people scared of graphologists. They ask about the traits that it can disclose and not the cost of the service. Why are we so worried? Why are we so scared of finding ourselves? Didn't Franklin D. Roosevelt say that There is nothing to fear but fear itself?

Keep your remote control with you.

Some people think that a graphologist has some miracle cure that will take them out of any situation they fall into, Some people find it easier to give away their control and let someone manage their life instead. Sadly, Life doesn't work that way. A graphologist can use the science he or she knows and show you what is wrong. A graphologist can then tell you about the changes that you can implement  and lead a better life but the implementation has to be done by you na? You have to keep your control with you. It is so strange, people hold so strongly to the remote control of the tv but let go of their controls so easily.

In continuation, this reminds me of one more story where I was telling a lady something very similar. I told her that she had to help herself. She looked at me a little astonished. I thought that she didn't understand what sort of help, so I told her that she had to stop waiting for other people to come and help and she was to take charge. To this she replied, "I always thought that I was to help others. Am I to help myself also?" I told her that she has already started helping herself and this meeting with me was a big indication of that. Her face that looked tensed earlier changed into a smile and she seemed as happy as a student does on receiving a star. :)
